Here’s a bit of how it ALL started!

We’re off to a great start in 2017 - here’s some of what we got in this issue…

We re-visit Nui Dat in ’66 and get a glimpse of what parts of it looked like, Tim Ford concludes the OC’s Recollections, we re-visit a “stroll” in Singleton, we conclude the Quinlan “Nomading” round Aus trip, read some in-comings, see what’s happening in Adelaide in April and the list goes on.

Vale has us sadly remembering two passed Locators.

1969 + and Sound Ranging has settled in…

The base changes had been made and then technology changes took over –

 Now what’s in the February edition…

 We’re into the last in the series of back to Nui Dat this time from 1969 +, we continue on with Geoff Jebb’s Recollections and Insights, there’s the mail - heaps, the “Grey Nomads” make a comeback, plus there’s an invitation to the Radar Dedication at Enoggera in April and quite a deal more to complete the 18 pages.

We visit Geelong to see what Rieny Nieuwenhof and the G&DVVA have been up to, we continue with Insights and Recollections with Coral Balmoral, take another look at "Unknowns", introduce a new series called "Collector's Corner", then there's some more "Oddities" and a fantastic "Mail Call" section bursting with heaps of input, a Notice Board re: 18th August and then get into the Association goings on.

30 Years - Commemoration of Vietnam Veterans Day, 1987…

Vietnam Veterans Day is commemorated on 18 August every year...
The tradition continues
with memorial services countrywide and some remarkable words spoken -

August has a plethora of stories – here's a glimpse...

Christmas – the best to everyone!!!

             We wish ALL of you the best for Christmas.

November’s Eyes & Ears is not to be missed – have a look at what you’ll discover…

Let’s start off with a Christmas wish, then we continue with Insights and Recollections with Coral Balmoral, then there’s a great Locator’s “Passion” to discover, we get into “Unknowns” and “Oddities, then there’s mail, more mail – just too good to miss. Hey there’s a really important notice requiring help on page 13/21, then there’s a jam-packed Association area, including the AGM. Vales catches up with us this month recording two lost mates – not a great way to end.

Only one more edition to go for 2017 – wow that’s amazing. Keep in touch it’s what we’re all about.

The message is still the same 50 years later...
HAPPY NEW YEAR FELLAS!

December's Eyes & Ears is a crackerjack edition – here's a preview of what's in store...

For a start, we've got some innovative and archival New Year wishes (thanks, again, to Ernie Newbold), then we get into the Long Tan cross's home coming, a reflective look at 1967, "Insights and Recollections" from Gordon Malcolm, Iain Kennedy's "Passion", we get into "Unknowns", "Oddities", then there's mail, more mail – phew, you're going to have to have some spare moments to get through this.
We're still requiring help – go have a look at page 12/17, hey then there's the Association area to get up to date info on.

Well, that's 2017 put to bed, so let's make a general New Year's resolution to keep well as can be and to keep in touch, both of these are vital – you're our lifeblood.
